August is Get Ready for Kindergarten Month! We would like to share some quick tips for families making this important transition this school year:
- Talk with your student about what they can expect in kindergarten
- At home, practice reading, writing & counting
- Play games to explore shapes, colors & numbers
- Set a regular bedtime & wake-up routine
- Provide plenty of positive reinforcement
- Meet & visit with your child’s teacher
